As you pass the Harmony Town city limits, not much changes.  But even a tiny hamlet has to have a gym, and you're determined to find it and win a badge, so you continue down the path.

Eventually you reach a quaint little village.  The town center is unpaved, and wildflowers poke up everywhere.  Besides the old-fashioned style of architecture, the most interesting thing here is a large fountain.  It features a marble Jigglypuff with water squirting from its microphone.  The round base is intricately carved with music notes, and inscribed with some Latin motto you can't translate.

A small girl is sitting on the edge of the fountain, swinging her feet.  If you can't act intelligent in this town, maybe you can at least be known as a good Pokemon trainer.

Battle Kim! (level 10)

Now, where's the PokeCenter?  You decide to ask a teenager loitering outside a small house.

"Where's the PokeCenter?" you query.

"To the right," he answers.

"My right or yours?"

"It's to the left," he says, looking very bored.

"But you just said it's to the right!"

"I didn't tell you anything," he drawls.

"Okay, who are you?" you ask with annoyance.

"I never answer questions," he tells you.

"But...argh!" You think it might be more useful to bang your head against the wall.

Battle Milo! (level 15)

Conveniently, the PokeCenter was right behind you the whole time.  You enter, and a little bell rings.  Being the super cool trainer that you are, you don't need to heal your Pokemon, but you would like to check on them.

PokéBox

This town probably has a PokeMart too.  Avoiding Milo, you look for another local who might give you directions.  An old lady is sitting on a bench.

"Been here long?" you say as you walk over to her.

"Very long," she answers.

"Know where the PokeMart is?"

"Down the road, 50 yards," she points.

You start in the direction she indicated.

"Wait a minute there, sonny!"

You turn around to see the old lady holding a pokeball.  "You train Pokemon?" you say in surprise.

"Can't let you young whippersnappers have all the fun!" she laughs. "Now draw!"

Battle Mildred! (level 20)

With that taken care of, you continue on to the PokeMart.  As you go in, you notice that this building has a bell on the door too.  You wander up and down the aisles.  The store has cases and cases of...pokeballs.  There can't possibly be enough Pokemon in the world to fill them all.

Spend Money!

Now for that badge!  By now you've learned not to ask directions in this town, so you consult a map.  Of course the gym is on the far side of town.  Better get moving then.

Finally you reach the doors of the Harmony Gym.  Most gyms you've seen are large and impressive, but this one barely passes as a building.  The gym leader must be a real loser to hang out in a town like this.  He'll be no match for your ultimate coolness!

Go in!
