DRabbitha interviewed me!

DRabbitha: We are happy to have with us this week a very spirited one who has made her spirit shine so brightly throughout the Site Fights. She is well thought of by those who know her. So without any further ado, may I present our Wee One of the week...Wee One Amicitia!! Won't you all make her welcome!!
Hi Wee One Amicitia, I am so glad you could come. Please come have a seat here and we will get started, I know you have a lot to do. You sure are a busy one. Please just relax and answer these teensy questions for me. giggles!!
We will just jump right in here, *grabbing up notes*...Ok, now, what made you decide to become a Wee One? Come now, dont be shy...

Amicitia: Now let me think...way back in October-ish 1998, my good friend Lemmy Koopa entered his site into competition. About a week later he told me about this really great thing called The Site Fights. So I went and looked around and found the Wee One Realm. At the time I was either very stupid or there was no Wee One sign-up form, so I actually applied to the Fairies and asked whoever received it to forward it to the Wee One person. Couple days later I got an email from Lady Katrina, and the rest is history.

DRabbitha: Now Hon...What is your secret for spreading your spirit around so well? I know we all want to hear.

Amicitia: No secret! Just dust every week, try not to use HTML in guestbooks that don't accept it, and send in the report form, even when the computer is being evil and crashing all over the place.

DRabbitha: Boy you lead an exciting life for sure. Now in your own way, tell me how you like being a Wee One and how did you feel when you were accepted into the Wee Ones??

Amicitia: Well, when I first got accepted, I really had no idea what I was doing. At the time, I was building a webpage using Microsoft Word and thought I was great. *LOL* But eventually I figured it out, and it's a lot of fun! It's a great return on a relatively small investment of time.

DRabbitha: Got a few more here for you...as Wee One of the week and I must say you are a wonderful example, could you just tell me how you felt when you were notified that you had won??

Amicitia: Well, I read the email very calmly, and I looked at the page like a normal sane person, and then I completely lost it. I ran around the room and screamed and hugged my mom, who had no idea what was going on, and then I e-mailed Lillianna, my best friend and a former Wee One.

DRabbitha: I know you had to be floored, I know i would have been. Giggles, now here's one for you, Ok, now can you tell me who you admire the most in the Site Fights??

Amicitia: Err...good question! Lemmy is a really awesome guy, he keeps track of more supporters than he cares to tell me about and he has TSF on the brain 24/7. And Lady Katrina is great, I don't know how she does all the things that need to be done around the Wee One Realm and still have time to answer my occasional silly email and put in an appearance at DMessageBoard. But probably I'd have to say DMan, because without him we wouldn't have a Site Fights!

DRabbitha: I always love hearing the answer to that one. What advice would you give to a new Wee One that would help them become a spirited Wee One such as yourself??

Amicitia: Ask for help! I think if you copied all the information from the brains of everyone in TSF, you'd wind up with an Encyclopedia of Everything. Finding someone to explain dusting or HTML or graphic-making is no problem at all. And once you learn that, you can share the spirit by passing your knowledge on to someone else!

DRabbitha: So now tell me, would you recommend becoming a Wee One to someone?

Amicitia: No, it's easier to win awards if there are less Wee Ones. J/K! Anyone between the ages of 13 and 17 should join. Unless they don't like fun. Or have irrational fears of fairy dust.

DRabbitha: Here's my favorite question...your chnace to tell it all...do you have anything you would like to share with us about yourself?? I know we would all love to hear about you, er ah from you...

Amicitia: Err, I'm sitting here in my three-computer basement, freezing my patootie off because I'm addicted to the Internet. I have four e-mail accounts that I check daily...but when I'm not doing that, you might find me writing a story, or learning something interesting, or sleeping, or working at the animal shelter.

DRabbitha: Now in closing, are you going to continue on and become a Fairy when you become eligible?

Amicitia: 11 months! I've been agonizing for a long time over what my Fairy name should be. I'd love to be a Lady someday. But for now I'll just flutter around doing my weekly dusting (starting with this week's! Eep!).

DRabbitha: Thank you so much for coming and sharing a bit of yourself with us...any closing thoughts???

Amicitia: Closing? Close the door. Case closed. 100 yards and closing. Oh, never mind. TSF forever! :)
